Jetski Tour

The Jetski tour is booked and departs from the Fiesta Premier Resort so it was very convenient for us. We booked it directly with the dive company that had an office close to the pool area.

We booked 1 jetski for the 2 of us. The cost was $135 USD for the 3-4 hour tour.

The tours run 2 times per day, or you can rent the jetskis on their own, although you are then restricted to staying within the bay.

The jetskis were in very good condition and we didn't have any mechanical problems what-so-ever.

We travelled around the bay, searching out sea turtles. We saw a couple Sting Rays. The water was very clear  with the green/aqua color, and we could easily see 20 feet down.

Once we travelled outside the bay, we came upon "Monkey Island". As you see behind us, yes, it looks like a monkey head! This is a natural rock, that has not been altered my mankind.

The ocean tour was awesome, with some swells and waves that we launched our jetski over. We toured down a river were we saw some birds and various trees, some with funky root systems. We stopped for a refreshment and then toured back out to the ocean.

The highlight of the tour was once we were back in the open ocean. We came upon several pods of dolphins. As we zipped along, some came and swam litteraly under the front part of the jetski! If we slowed down, they slowed down, if we turned hard either way, they did the same. The must enjoy the underwater wave that the boats create. It was somewhat magical to interact with them.

Unfortunately, I did not take the camera out while we were around the dolphins. It was one of those moments that you had to experience...

I recommend the jetski tour. It was a great way to spend a glorious morning.
